Our client is a transportation service company based in Western Canada providing a wide range of operations for customers throughout North America. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer (“CIO”), the Director, Information Systems & Technology (“Director”) will support the CIO in effective planning, organization and operation of infrastructure development and security. The director will provide leadership to ongoing development projects as well as implementing and monitoring appropriate technologies to support and improve corporate communications, access to information, and end-user productivity.
The preferred candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of direct leadership work experience in an IT management capacity, ideally in the transport sector or a similar field. We’re seeking someone with strong proficiency in IT infrastructure, operating systems, servers and databases, and cloud-based architectures. This role is well-suited for individuals who can think strategically, challenge the status quo, and contribute exciting ideas to the organization through analyzing emerging technologies, as well as being comfortable leading, engaging, and cultivating teams.
This position offers a competitive compensation package including a target salary range of $150,000 to $225,000, supplemented by an attractive bonus structure and benefits program.
