We have partnered with a leading business law firm in Vancouver to recruit for a Partner, Capital Markets, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions for their growing team. Our client is deeply rooted in the business communities across Vancouver, British Columbia and beyond. Renowned for their industry expertise, entrepreneurial spirit and strategic connections, they represent many nationally and internationally recognized businesses across key sectors, including technology and intellectual property, natural resources, commercial real estate, finance and venture capital, as well as infrastructure and construction.
Our client is seeking an experienced capital markets, securities and/or mergers & acquisitions lawyer with an established or developing book of business to join its team. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded, established business law firm and play a leading role in the growth of the firm’s Capital Markets, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions Group.

Who we’re looking for
The successful candidate that will emerge from this search will be an established capital markets lawyer in Vancouver, or elsewhere in Canada with an interest in relocating to Vancouver. This person will:
- Be licensed and in good standing to practice law in British Columbia (or another province/territory in Canada)
- Bring senior-level capital markets and securities experience, gained at another well-regarded business law firm
- Ideally have at least a partial portable practice, together with strong industry relationships
- Possess exceptional written and oral communication skills
Candidates with the desire and aptitude to play a leading role in the growth of our client’s Capital Markets, Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions Group would be welcomed.
