Diane is a proven and genuine leader with over 30 years of leadership experience. As Managing Director of Humanis, she manages all corporate functions, including finance and accounting, marketing, IT, legal, and privacy, while overseeing the achievement of the firm’s annual strategic plan.
Before joining Humanis, Diane spent a decade as the Chief Administrative Officer for a national HR talent management firm, playing a strategic operational role that saw the organization grow and be successfully acquired during her tenure. She also spent 20 years in various senior management positions in lending and finance with one of the Top 5 Canadian banks.
Diane is closely involved with the Edmonton community and actively participates in numerous local causes. She previously served as the Chair of Fundraising for the Festival of Trees Foundation and is a longstanding member of the Medical Admission Review Group at the University of Alberta, where she conducts reviews and interviews for medical school admissions during the annual admission cycle.

Raj possesses over a decade of recruitment related experience. He is thrilled to be joining Humanis Advisory focusing on retained executive search.
Raj has placed a variety of senior-level corporate professionals. Drawing on his extensive network, industry expertise, insights, understanding of current market trends, and needs analysis, his clients rely on him to introduce the right resource-based professionals into their businesses. Raj’s areas of specialization include finance, system implementations and operations.
Further, Raj sits on the boards of Junior Achievement, YMCA and Free Play for Kids. In his spare time, he spends time with his wife Pam and their two boys, Arryn and Naiyan.

René is passionate about the recruitment industry and is actively involved in every aspect of the search process, including business development, research, interviewing, candidate assessments, and client management. He has placed top executives for leading organizations in a variety of industries within the Alberta market. René believes in the value of his client partnerships and strives to ensure that every client experience is a positive and memorable one.
René holds a BA with a Psychology major from the University of Alberta. He most recently sat on the boards of Alberta Forward and the Edmonton Ski Club, and is the past Vice Chair of Kids Up Front Edmonton. He donates his time to youth leadership initiatives in his community, and outside of work can be found on a ski hill or relaxing at the lake and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Max boasts over a decade of expertise and experience in executive recruitment, corporate sponsorship, and business and relationship development – during which he has amassed in-depth knowledge of North America’s corporate and sporting landscape.
As a former three sport varsity athlete, Max was able to bring the corporate and sporting worlds together through earning an MBA with an emphasis in sports management from Griffith University – which led to a position in Corporate Partnerships with the Edmonton Oilers. Max then went on to begin his executive search career at Conroy Ross Partners with a focus in finance, sales, and marketing. After leading the Canadian operations of SRI, a global boutique recruitment firm focused on sports, media, and entertainment, Max co-founded the Toronto-based leadership development company Won for All.
In addition to sharing his passion for staying active with his daughters Stella and Ada, Max also sits on the board of Luge Canada.

Dave draws on over a decade of global recruitment and business development experience, making his market knowledge an invaluable resource to organizations of all sizes. His recruiting specialty is in engineering, manufacturing, construction and operations positions, where he has a reputation for implementing unique search strategies to attract top talent and build cohesive teams. Dave has a realistic understanding of how his clients’ businesses function in today’s world and what they will need to thrive in the future. Moreover, he has a deep network and a refined ability to spot technical talent and match it with the most suitable company culture.
Dave holds an MBA in Global Management and a BBA in Marketing. He is an enthusiastic supporter of Big Brothers of Canada and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and is on the board of The Vancouver Society of Children’s Centres, where he sits on the HR & Governance, Finance and Nominations committees.
Dave is an avid traveler and sports enthusiast, coaches his son’s tee-ball and soccer teams, and enjoys hockey, golf, cycling, baseball, basketball, tennis and skiing.

Drawing on over a decade of senior recruitment experience, Barry specializes in the placement of senior finance and operations professionals. His passion to stay on the cutting edge of business development leads him to exceptional candidates who drive his clients’ organizations toward new heights. A professional accountant with more than 20 years in senior leadership positions, he knows exactly who his clients need to build strong teams and propel their organizations forward.
Barry holds both CPA and CGA designations, and has served on the boards and audit committees of a number of public and private companies. In his free time, he enjoys adventure travel with his family, mountain hiking, stand-up paddling, great food and wine with friends, and watching a good movie.

Stephanie is an experienced registered professional recruiter with a zest for matching exceptional people and companies. Having built strong relationships with hiring managers in every field and industry, she puts her expertise in sourcing, selection, behavioural interviewing, salary negotiations, onboarding and offboarding, and relationship management into achieving our clients’ corporate goals.
Balancing work with family and fun, Stephanie enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She also volunteers for the Canadian Diabetes Society, and as treasurer and fundraiser for the St. Albert Impact soccer club.

Nathan is a Research Coordinator at Humanis Advisory and a proud graduate of the University of Alberta. While obtaining his Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Nathan began working as a recruiter at a Canadian bank where he developed a passion for building relationships and growing his network.
You will often find Nathan enjoying all the thrills that Edmonton has to offer. Whether that be cheering on the Oilers or biking through the river valley, Nathan
is an advocate for the city. His world revolves around sports, including hockey, golf, and football. He channels this competitive spirit through his work, as Nathan carries his values of teamwork, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of success in every project he takes on.

Natasha is thrilled to be joining Humanis Advisory as their [resident] Research Coordinator. Natasha is a recent graduate from the University of Alberta, holding a BA majoring in Political Science and minoring in Sociology. Natasha’s humanities background and community engagement have given her experience in communications, technology, research, writing and editing.These skills have aligned perfectly with all things Humanis. Natasha served as the Vice President of Delta Gamma Fraternity at the University of Alberta, a position with a special focus on the recruitment of new members and member retention.
No stranger to the stage, Natasha began acting, singing and dancing at age 5. Shortly after, Natasha began dancing competitively in Sherwood Park, Alberta and has performed with Alberta Ballet in their annual Nutcracker production. In her free time, Natasha enjoys practising yoga, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Known for her friendly nature and pawsitive outlook, Mandy plays a key role in keeping everyone in the workplace smiling. Her appetite for belly rubs and cuddles is legendary, and even as an octogenarian (in dog years) Mandy is still up for learning new tricks – especially when treats are involved.
Advisory Board

Under Paul’s direction, the Silverberg Group advises western Canadian companies on designing and maximizing their group benefit and retirement plans to allow the employees to take care of themselves and their families. Paul has a proven record of combining business expertise with solid leadership, planning, marketing, and operational skills – all of which have been consistently developed over his diverse business career, a career which has actually spanned 10 different careers!
Paul has served on the board of Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (Vice Chair), was President of the Entrepreneurs Organization, and is currently on the Business Advisory Council for the University of Alberta School of Business. He is also an active member of the Venture Mentoring Service program.
Born and raised in Alberta, Paul completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at the University of Alberta in 1988 and later obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1990. Paul and his wife, Christina, have three children and he remains committed to his Five Fs – Family, Friendship, Fitness, Future, and Fairness.

Healthcare is changing, and Dr. Abbott is positioning the University Hospital Foundation (UHF) at the forefront of that change. The UHF is taking the lead in bringing together the right people from industry, academia, government and healthcare, and engaging philanthropy to tackle some of the world’s biggest healthcare challenges.
During her tenure as President and CEO of NorQuest College (2010-2019), Dr. Abbott and her team more than doubled the student population through expanded credit and non-credit programming; unveiled innovative partnerships including the Alberta Indigenous Construction Career Centre, the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation Hospitality Institute, the NorQuest College ATB Agency, and the Colbourne Institute for Inclusive Leadership; and enhanced NorQuest’s brand recognition.
Dr. Abbott is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Edmonton Chapter Executive Committee. She recently joined Ozone Advisory as a Special Advisor with the goal to support public sector and not-for-profit organizations in their governance journeys. She chaired the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board, was the inaugural Chair of Edmonton’s Health City, and volunteers with Skate Canada on the Officials Assignment and Promotion Committee.
Dr. Abbott was named as one of the Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network in 2015 and 2018, received the first-ever District 99 Toastmaster Award in Leadership and Communication, and was named a Global Woman of Vision. In 2023, she received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.
